Senior Facade Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Facade Engineer to join our dynamic team specializing in precast concrete solutions.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-quality facade systems across various projects in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and engineering of precast concrete facades ensuring structural integrity aesthetics and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with architects contractors and other stakeholders to develop innovative facade solutions that meet project specifications.
  • Conduct detailed structural analysis thermal modeling and material assessments to optimize facade performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish and European building regulations standards and best practices.
  • Oversee project management tasks including planning budgeting scheduling and quality control.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate production and installation of facade elements.
  • Review and approve detailed design drawings calculations and specifications.
  • Manage client relationships presenting design proposals and progress reports.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facade engineering with a strong focus on precast concrete systems.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Revit and other BIM tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish and European building regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale facade projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
