About the Position

ERTO is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the integration and automation of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, improve decision-making, and provide actionable insights by leveraging advanced technologies to streamline and optimize reporting processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Integration:

  • Lead the convergence of OT and IT systems in line with organizational goals, ensuring seamless interoperability between enterprise IT systems and industrial control systems.
  • Develop comprehensive roadmaps for digital transformation and automation projects, aligning with long-term business objectives.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

  • Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity policies across OT and IT domains, safeguarding against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate regular risk assessments and mitigation plans for network and operational infrastructure, ensuring high availability and integrity of critical systems.

Operations & System Management:

  • Manage IT and OT infrastructure, including servers, networks, SCADA systems, and data centres, ensuring high availability, integrity, and reliability of critical systems.
  • Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts across both domains, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

  • Supervise and mentor IT and OT team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to manage tools, contracts, and service levels, ensuring optimal performance and value.

Resilience and Continuity:

  • Lead the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for OT and IT systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure high availability of critical OT and IT services, minimizing downtime and operational risks.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, or sector-specific standards, maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare for audits across IT and OT operations, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Objective Setting & Performance Evaluation:

  • Set SMARTER objectives for the IT/OT team, aligning with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and revise objectives as needed, supporting continuous improvement and adaptability.

Business Process Automation:

  • Analyse existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas suitable for automation, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
  • Design, implement, and maintain process automation solutions, leveraging technologies such as AI, IoT, and SCADA systems, to drive digital transformation and innovation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ICS/SCADA systems, IT networks, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity principles, with proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and digital transformation projects. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, along with certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
