We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Operative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be required to clean all patient rooms and bathrooms, including floors, walls, windows and furniture. Additionally, you will need to ensure that all cleaning equipment is cleaned and stored away after use.

In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring that all infection control policies and procedures are followed at all times. This includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary and disposing of waste properly.

As a Housekeeping Operative, you will be working closely with other departments to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the organisation. You will be required to report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Clean all patient rooms and bathrooms, including floors, walls, windows and furniture
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is cleaned and stored away after use
  • Follow infection control policies and procedures at all times
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
  • Dispose of waste properly
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager immediately
