Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned hotel operations manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our 4-star hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the hotel's front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, and other guest-facing departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Act as primary point of contact for guests, handling queries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support and guide staff during shifts, ensuring high service standards are consistently upheld.
  • Monitor hotel performance during shifts and report on any incidents, maintenance issues, or guest feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Assist in training, motivating, and coaching team members to deliver excellent service.
  • Handle cash, banking, and shift handovers in line with company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with Heads of Department and senior management to ensure a coordinated operation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory food and beverage role.
  • Experience in a 4-star property or higher.
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, reservations, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in food and beverage operations as well as front office.
