EHS Specialist Role Overview
This position presents an exciting opportunity for a qualified EHS professional to join our team in Dublin. As an ideal candidate, you will possess a degree in Environmental Science or a related field, with 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in Pharma, Med-Dev, Food and Beverage Production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and monitoring environmental, Health & Safety programmes ensuring compliance with legislative regulations
- Performing risk assessments and implementing associated risk controls
- Working closely with other EHS specialists across the site
- Supporting the Director of EHS to ensure site compliance with HAS, OSHA, EPA and corporate requirements
Additional Duties:
- Increasing safety awareness among staff through promotion, training and departmental manager engagement
- Conducting inspections, internal assessments and recommending corrective measures
- Leading EHS projects to completion and providing support during accident investigations
- Coordinating participation in events including Safety Week and Safety Walks
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and possess excellent organisational and time management skills. They must also be familiar with all site processes and procedures, and possess the technical competence to understand and review safety-critical and environmental-critical aspects of each process/procedure.
