Job Overview

This role is responsible for providing expert guidance to customers and other support engineers, collaborating with the team to resolve complex customer issues, and handling case escalations and solving customer issues on site.

  • Work closely with Engineering to relay any product issues
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites for emergency technical issues
Key Responsibilities

Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance to customers and other support engineers.

Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the team to resolve complex customer issues and handle case escalations.

Site Visits: Travel occasionally to customer sites for emergency technical issues.

Product Feedback: Work closely with Engineering to relay any product issues.

Requirements

Experience: 5-8 years of technical experience in a support role, preferably in an Enterprise-level environment with experience troubleshooting hardware-related issues.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Skills: Outstanding customer-facing skills, ability to assess situations and adapt according to customer needs, capable of documenting problems and solutions for internal and external customers, understanding of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, TCP/IP networks, ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade switches, hands-on experience in Windows and Linux, Mac OSX platforms, solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices.

Certifications: Industry certifications such as CISSP, CASP, Security+, CEH, SANS (GCIA, GCIH, GREM, GPEN).
