We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician with an Electrical background to support the start-up of our European manufacturing site.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in the efficient operation of the site, performing essential maintenance on facilities and electrical infrastructure. This includes routine/preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and ensuring that the site meets electrical safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated facilities maintenance environment, knowledge of Maximo CMMS, GMP standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage contractors effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, particularly with controls systems.
  • Proficiency in using Maximo CMMS.
  • Strong understanding of GMP standards.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.

Other Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills. Experience working with BMS/EMS systems is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine/preventive maintenance on electrical and other facilities infrastructure.
  • Provide timely electrical troubleshooting support where required.
  • Evaluate equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities and other repair tasks are accurately documented and that records are audit-ready at all times.
