Operational Site Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operational Site Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our site.

  • Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times, with regular risk assessments and safety briefings conducted to ensure employees understand their roles in maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, site permits, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and employee well-being.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance skills and knowledge, driving personal and professional growth within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to drive business objectives, identify opportunities for growth, and align operational strategies with company goals.
  • Work effectively with external partners and stakeholders to build strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and excellence in service delivery.
  • Play an active role in the development and implementation of site-wide initiatives that promote sustainability, health and safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, developing contingency plans to minimize disruptions to site operations.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, optimizing resource allocation to maximize returns on investment.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have

  • At least 5 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and improving site operations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to think critically and creatively.
  • A deep understanding of industry regulations and standards, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages.
