Transform Finance Operations with a Strategic Mindset

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Project Manager to lead the delivery of our finance transformation programme.

About the Programme

This programme involves consolidating multiple finance systems into a unified platform, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a project plan, defining scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate across internal teams, external system providers, and implementation partners to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls to maintain programme momentum.
  • Oversee the development of a modern finance operating model, incorporating best-practice processes and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure the new solution provides a single source of truth for financial data, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Embed process improvements and automation throughout the organisation, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain strong governance frameworks and controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex finance system implementations or ERP projects.
  • Formal project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes and systems, with emphasis on controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to coordinate across functions, manage external vendors, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering technology-enabled transformation programmes in large or complex environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Background in public sector, regulatory, or service-based environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based finance solutions and automated reconciliation tools.
  • Experience centralising or modernising finance operations within shared services or enterprise environments.
