Job Title

We are currently seeking a skilled Microbiologist to join our team as a Junior Team Leader. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory settings and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by organizing workload, ensuring data integrity, and delivering results on time.
  • Perform data review of junior staff's analyses and provide feedback.
  • Conduct routine and investigative analysis using various techniques and interpret results.
  • Develop, transfer, and validate methods with support from senior colleagues.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and systems, including supplier reports.
  • Assist with client proposals for method development and validation protocols.
  • Train and supervise junior staff in routine activities and methods.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a GMP Pharmaceutical Microbiology Environment with testing and data review responsibilities.
  • Line management or people management experience with the ability to conduct one-on-one meetings.
  • Strong technical knowledge in microbiology.
  • Previous experience as a line manager of at least 1-2 people.
  • Able to work independently and make decisions without supervision.
