Job Title: Security Officer

Duties include:

  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all required training for the site.
  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties defined in the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
  • Proactively refer to and review the AIs, stay aware of changes, and suggest improvements to enhance service.
  • Monitor CCTV system where required.
  • Identify and immediately report Health & Safety hazards on the client location.
  • Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
  • Use initiative and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
  • Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry after any incident for incident report purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide security services to clients with minimal supervision.
  • Protect property from theft, vandalism, and other malicious activities.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times.

Requirements:

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent personal appearance.
  • Methodical, organized approach to work.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Own transport desirable.
  • Team player; able to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent timekeeping.
  • Understanding of customer service.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • PSA Licence is essential.
