Automation Engineering Opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading multinational organization in the pharmaceutical industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving related design documentation, partnering with local site project teams, and participating in agile sprint teams for software development.

Key responsibilities include commissioning and qualification activities, implementing changes, ensuring software is implemented in a safe fashion, configuring and testing, and educating local project teams on automation standards.

Qualifications include a BS in engineering or computer science, 3+ years of experience in DeltaV application, experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities, and a proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.

This contract position is mid-senior level and involves manufacturing and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve related design documentation.
  • Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system.
  • Participate in agile sprint teams for software development.
  • Commission and qualify activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing.
  • Implement changes, covering RS updates, RTM change control, implementation and test.
  • Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments, and business processes.
  • Configure and test in development systems as required.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 3 or more years of experience in DeltaV application.
  • Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities.
  • Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.
