Healthcare Data Migration Specialist

The role of a Healthcare Data Migration Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the seamless transition of data from legacy systems to modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. As part of our EHR implementation team, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality healthcare services by overseeing the migration process.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and project coordination abilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare IT, particularly in data migration and integration, and a deep understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data migration strategies to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and validate data migration workflows
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for data privacy and security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies
  • Provide training and support to end-users on data migration processes and tools

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, with at least 2 years in data migration or integration leadership
  • Proven experience with EHR system data migration, including clinical and patient data
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, including HL7, FHIR, and clinical coding systems
  • Excellent project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills
