This is a unique opportunity to excel in a leadership role within the catering industry.

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to oversee daily catering services for residents, ensuring high standards in food safety, hygiene, quality, and presentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing catering operations, including food storage, preparation, production, and distribution.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Catering Operations Management
    1. Manage daily catering services, overseeing food safety, hygiene, quality, and presentation standards.
    2. Supervise food storage, preparation, production, and distribution processes to ensure efficiency and safety.
    3. Collaborate with dietitians, nursing, and care staff to meet clinical and individual dietary needs.
  2. Café Management
    1. Oversee café operations, ensuring cleanliness, customer service, and operational efficiency.
    2. Manage café staff, menus, and service flow to provide a welcoming and high-quality experience for residents, visitors, and staff.
    3. Monitor stock levels, manage purchasing, and control costs to minimize waste.
  3. Resident Dining Experience
    1. Ensure a positive mealtime experience for all residents, including proper setting of dining rooms and trays, courteous service, and timely meal delivery.
    2. Gather feedback from residents and implement improvements based on satisfaction surveys and audits.
  4. Staff Leadership & Development
    1. Lead, train, and supervise catering and café staff, ensuring ongoing development and performance standards are met.
    2. Organize rotas and manage staffing needs efficiently.
    3. Ensure all staff follow hygiene protocols and food safety procedures.
  5. Resource Management
    1. Monitor and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
    2. Oversee purchasing and stock control systems to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
    3. Participate in menu planning and procurement decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced leader with a degree in Culinary Arts or a similar discipline. You should have at least three years' experience in a catering or café restaurant management role in a high-volume setting. Additionally, you should possess certified HACCP Management training and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
