Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join our team as a Junior Team Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service, performing routine and investigative analysis, and supervising junior staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, experience in data review, and excellent communication skills. They will also be able to work independently and make decisions without supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality customer service and ensure effective organisation of assigned workload
  • Perform routine and investigative analysis using various techniques
  • Supervise junior staff and provide training and support
  • Maintain laboratory systems and equipment
Requirements:
  • 3 years + experience in GMP pharmaceutical microbiology environment
  • Line management / people management experience
  • Technical mind in microbiology
  • Ability to work without supervision
