Job Description

Flynn is a first-generation construction company with operations across Ireland, UK and Northern Europe. We specialize in Critical Environments such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing and Critical Logistics.

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Document Controller to join our high performing project team.

The Document Controller will play a key role in supporting the Site Project Team in ensuring that all documentation related to the project is managed according to construction best practice and in line with Flynn's Quality Management System.

  • Carrying out daily project office administrative tasks, in support of the project management teams
  • Oversee the document control process for the entire project, ensuring that all documentation is organised, recorded, and managed in accordance with project and company policies
  • Develop and maintain document control procedures, ensuring that they are up to date and reflect current best practices
  • Work closely with the project team, providing guidance and support on document control-related matters, and ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Manage the project document control system, including the document management software, and ensure that it is operating effectively and efficiently
  • Provide regular reports on document control status to project management and other stakeholders, as required
  • Manage the receipt, distribution, and tracking of all project documentation including technical submittals, method statements, RAMS, drawings, QA records, and certification documents
  • Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support for project teams, designers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Curate, verify, distribute, and retrieve all project documentation
  • Onboard & induct all Subcontractors
  • Configure status reports, workflows, distribution matrices, and control logs
  • Knowledge of ISO-19650 workflows,
  • Create templates, procedures, and guidelines for long-term scalability and compliance
  • Conduct regular audits / internal checks for data consistency, retention, and version traceability
