Job Summary:

The Strategic HR Business Partner is a key role within the Human Resources function. This professional partners with Site Leadership to understand business needs and translate them into the HR agenda on site.

Main Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Collaborate with People Managers & Leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source active candidates to fill specialized positions in various functional areas.
  • Drive the recruitment process from opening to close.
  • Participate in interviews, offering insights and recommendations for candidate selection.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as primary point of contact for employees and people managers/leaders to address HR-related inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.
  • Promote a positive work environment and culture, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Performance Management

  • Guide and support people managers/leaders in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover and retain top talent.

Training and Development

  • Work with Regional HR Manager & L&D Manager to identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs.
  • Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and career planning.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Support annual merit review process.
  • Advise management on policy interpretation and job evaluation.

Compliance

  • Stay updated on employment law changes and HR best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures for compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in the pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and training.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
