We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Mechanic for our clients. This is a full-time position with a permanent contract, working Monday to Friday.

Job Summary – Mechanic
  • Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of a wide range of vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems under supervision.
  • Develop hands-on experience with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety practices.
  • Follow technical instructions, service manuals, and workplace procedures accurately.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards, quality expectations, and safety regulations.
  • Keep the workshop organized by maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Record completed tasks, parts used, and report progress to supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment while building independent problem-solving skills.
  • Currently undertaking or have completed a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
  • Strong understanding of basic automotive systems, servicing, and repair procedures.
  • Familiarity with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety practices.
  • Valid Driving Licence

Salary is open to negotiation and based on experience.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Successful completion of first and second year apprenticeship requirements.
  • Knowledge of workshop software and management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
