Event Coordinator Role

As a skilled Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing events from conception to completion. This involves providing exceptional customer service, managing event details, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior team members to oversee event coordination, sales enquiries, and tracking.
  • Meet with prospective clients to showcase event options and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure timely and professional responses to client inquiries, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Prepare regular reports on business performance, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Generate quotes for bookings and coordinate event details, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Liaise with clients to confirm event logistics, including catering, decorations, and entertainment.
  • Monitor and communicate event bookings, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
  • Process conference bookings and private functions through effective relationship management.
  • Upsell products and services to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Lead the smooth handover of events to operations teams, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Manage customer feedback and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a positive reputation.
  • Schedule and attend regular meetings with functions and sales teams to discuss ongoing projects.
  • Maintain relationships with other departments to facilitate efficient event execution.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in events or a related field is required.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as event management systems, word processing, and spreadsheet tools, is necessary.
  • A team player with excellent customer-service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving is ideal.
