Job Title: Hotel Front Office Manager
About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Hotel Front Office Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of front desk staff, managing the overall operation of the front office, and ensuring exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a team of 7 staff members to include reception and night porters
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk and back office administration
- Evaluate and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the front office department
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff members
- Manage hotel and third-party websites, including rates and availability
- Work in conjunction with the sales team and revenue manager to optimize group reservations
- Manage debtors and ensure timely payment
- Duty manage shifts and attend meetings as required
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within a 3/4* hotel
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work a combination of shifts, including early and late mornings and evenings
