Job Title

We are seeking a professional Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, payment runs and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process PO, non-PO and Freight invoices on an ERP system.
  • Ensure queries/invoice issues are addressed immediately.
  • Monitor mailbox for statements approvals & queries.
  • Seek approval of non-PO invoices.
  • Attach Approval emails to an ERP workflow.
  • Ensure VAT compliance for all entities.
  • Reconcile resolved invoices.
  • Verify contracts against relevant invoices.
  • Support weekly payment runs.
  • Set up new vendors on the system.
  • Collaborate with financial accounting team to reconcile freight invoices.
  • Liaise with the Accounts Payable Manager on outstanding queries list.
  • Complete Balance sheet reconciliation at month-end.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience of SAP or other ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Experience dealing with high-volume or value invoices.
  • Knowledge of accounting transactions.
  • Experience with multicurrency transactions.
