Job Title

Mechanical Contracts Manager is a key role in our organisation, responsible for overseeing the installation of building systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the installation of building systems to ensure compliance with legislative and health and safety requirements.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and operating procedures to optimise system performance.
  • Work closely with other professionals such as structural engineers, surveyors and builders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Design and specify building systems using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Monitor and analyse building systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in a relevant industry, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to generate practical solutions and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to convert written and verbal directions into 2D/3D drawings, with strong spatial awareness and visualisation skills.
