Construction Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a qualified professional to oversee the coordination and supervision of finishing for residential apartment projects in Louth. This is a permanent position resulting from multiple new contracts across Louth and Meath.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team members.
  • They will report into and support the Project Manager and Site Manager, overseeing and managing manpower on site including direct staff and subcontractors.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement of materials, ensuring site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
  • They must also manage sub-contractors, trades and personnel on site to ensure productivity levels are high and works are completed on time.
  • A key aspect of this role is ensuring company policies including Health and Safety policies are adhered to on site.

Key Responsibilities:

This position involves coordinating and supervising finishing for residential apartment projects, with responsibility for acting as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team members.

  • Acting as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team;
  • Reporting into and supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager;
  • Overseeing and managing manpower on site including direct staff and subcontractors;
  • Procurement of materials and ensuring site requirements are met without exceeding budget;
  • Managing sub-contractors, trades and personnel on site to ensure productivity levels are high and works are completed on time;
  • Ensuring company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background (carpentry/joinery preferred);
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role with a construction company in ROI main contractor or fit out contractor preferred;
  • Experience working on high volume residential developments essential.
