Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to independently manage a portfolio of accounts receivable with a focus on Germany and Austria. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to deliver consistent improvement in collection results.

  • Manage day-to-day customer contact, collections, and troubleshoot customers' exceptions to invoices with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborate with customers and sales teams, as well as conduct face-to-face visits with customers as needed.
  • Act as a liaison with the Credit team and all other order to cash partners and Teleflex business units to build relationships with external customers.
  • Work closely with Managers to ensure process improvement is ongoing and excellent customer service is provided internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly when dealing with customer credit risk, reasons for lateness, collections, and billing issues.
  2. Ability to report portfolio status on demand and effectively utilize available systems to create those reports.
  3. Understanding of credit risk principles and the ability to apply them to day-to-day work to reduce risk to Teleflex.
  4. Ability to root cause and create solutions to non-standard customer disputes or reasons for non-payment.
  5. Capacity to look for and communicate ideas to improve processes over time.
  6. Support for other finance activities, such as Tax Certifications and invoice/internal control filing and delivery of paperwork inside and outside the office.
  7. Collaboration with peers and Managers for a win-win outcome.
  8. Reduction of write-offs to bad debt and third-party collections by proactively collecting on accounts receivable.
  9. Evaluation of processes to ensure compliance with policy.
  10. Hybrid work schedule in office and building rapport with other OTC partners.
