Job Title: Credit Analyst Position
This role involves managing an accounts receivable portfolio with a focus on Germany and Austria. The position requires day-to-day customer contact, collections, and troubleshooting customer exceptions to invoices.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver consistent improvement in collection results. Collaboration with customers and sales, as well as face-to-face visits with customers, is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem solving customer credit risk, reasons for lateness, Collection, and billing issues.
- Reporting portfolio status and utilizing systems to create reports.
- Applying credit risk concepts to daily work to reduce risk.
- Root cause analysis and creation of solutions for non-standard customer disputes or reasons for non-payment.
- Finding and communicating ideas to improve processes over time.
- Supporting other finance activities like Tax Certifications and invoice/internal control filing and delivery of paperwork inside and outside the office.
- Collaboration with peers and Managers for win-win outcomes.
- Reducing write-offs to bad debt and third-party collections by proactively collecting on accounts receivable.
- Evaluating processes and ensuring compliance with policy.
- A hybrid work schedule with in-office collaboration and rapport-building with OTC partners.
