Senior Portfolio Leader

The role of a Senior Portfolio Leader is to oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of multiple projects within a portfolio. This includes providing leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring effective governance and resource planning, and driving continuous improvement across delivery operations.

As a Senior Portfolio Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of project managers and engagement managers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Providing strategic oversight and guidance to ensure effective project delivery and sustained client satisfaction.
  • Driving initiatives to enhance delivery maturity, team scalability, and consistent client outcomes.
  • Monitoring market and internal trends to continuously evolve delivery strategies and methodologies.
  • Recruiting and managing a team of engagement management staff to meet business priorities and scaling the function in line with demand.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience managing project delivery within a consultancy or agency setting.
  • 3+ years of experience leading delivery teams or portfolios with responsibility for people management, governance, and resourcing.
  • Proven ability to manage a complex portfolio of projects and teams, balancing strategic oversight with operational execution.
  • Deep understanding of project delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and delivery models.
