Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Competition and Antitrust Lawyer to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have experience in the competition team of a reputable law firm and be well-versed in Irish and EU competition/antitrust law.

The role involves advising leading market participants on all aspects of competition law, including mergers and acquisitions, anticompetitive agreements, and abuse of dominance. Our client seeks a talented individual who is passionate about competition law and has a strong academic background in this area.

About the Role

  • Advise clients on merger control, cartel investigations, and abuse of dominance cases under EU and Irish laws.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers to deliver high-quality advice to clients and contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in competition law, staying up-to-date with latest developments and case law.

Requirements

  • LL.B. or equivalent qualification in Law.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in competition law, preferably in a reputable law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of EU and Irish competition laws, regulations, and case law.
