**Job Title:** Account Strategist, MMS

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and strategy, with experience working with businesses to identify growth opportunities. They will be responsible for delivering against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals, owning a portfolio of medium and large businesses, and building relationships with customers and agencies.

About the Role:

  • To succeed in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • You'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and revenue, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • A key aspect of this role is your ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and to communicate effectively with them to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience: In advertising sales and strategy, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling.
    • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Sub-Saharan Africa, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
    • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
