BIM Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join our team. As a BIM Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our design management capability.

Responsibilities:
  • Taking full responsibility for the design coordination of projects, developing designs, producing workshop drawings, and managing coordination between departments is a core aspect of this position.
  • You will ensure technical excellence across projects and opportunities from pre-project through to detailed delivery.
  • Leading the pre-construction phase design processes, liaising with the client and design team is essential to your success.
  • Audit designs, identifying inconsistencies, discrepancies, and missing information, recording, reporting, and tracking is critical to ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • You will manage production and control of the design programme and report against it.
  • Reviewing development of designs regularly alongside stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned is an important aspect of this role.
  • Managing production and approval of samples, mock-ups, and quality benchmarks is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the construction sector is required.
  • Degree certification in a relevant subject is highly desirable.
  • You should be knowledgeable in current building regulations and H&S legislation.
  • Possessing a passion for design, a commitment to excellence, and a focus on continuous improvement on both a personal and divisional level is essential.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to stay focused is necessary.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise own work, deliver on time, and delegate effectively is crucial.
