Cancer Care Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Cancer Care Professional. As a key member of our dynamic and supportive team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive cancer information, advice, and support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert cancer information, guidance, and support to service users.
  • Refer patients and carers to relevant healthcare services and organisations, aligning with our established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and anonymity in accordance with our protocols.
  • Ensure that all information provided is evidence-based and up-to-date.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Registered General Nurse on the active register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Post-registration qualification in cancer nursing (minimum diploma level).
  • Three years' recent experience in cancer care.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. They will also be flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel as required.
