Director of Intellectual Disabilities Services

A challenging and fulfilling opportunity has arisen for a senior manager to lead our intellectual disabilities service team based in Wexford.
Job Summary:- Oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of life for service users, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Lead a team of staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on service user progress, as well as staff performance and training needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve seamless delivery of services and optimal outcomes for service users.
- Minimum of a Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework (BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent) or a postgraduate qualification in Social Care Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in senior management, with demonstrable experience of strategic planning and leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in the health/social care sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services and achieving positive outcomes.
