As an Electrical Manager, you will oversee the electrical design requirements and deliverables on substation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and delivering all aspects of electrical substation design, including primary design, secondary design, design calculations, procurement specifications, etc.

The Role:
  • Take on a leadership role as a Team Lead and Substation Technical Expert within our Engineering Team
  • Own all elements of electrical substation design
  • Delegate tasks to team members, monitor progress versus costs and programme
  • Review and approve team submissions in advance of issue, identifying value engineering opportunities where possible
  • Promote a safety culture and safe working environment

You will have the opportunity to work on major Power, Renewable & Substation projects. You will be involved in technical and strategic decision making, and will provide mentoring, support, and technical development to team members.

Ensure that all design outputs meet the required technical, quality and safety standards. Identify design risks and propose mitigation techniques, and assist the tendering department as required with bid submissions.
