The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving growth, with a strong focus on the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) sector.
Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic planning and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners.
- Promote the portfolio for MICE, leisure, and corporate bookings through effective marketing strategies.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and sales missions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to design and execute business development strategies.
- Analyse performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI.
- Deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Provide market feedback and insights to inform future offerings and strategies.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or similar client-facing roles in the hospitality industry.
- Experience or strong interest in the MICE sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Knowledge of the Irish and international hospitality market is a plus.
- Clean driving licence.
