Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily food preparation for portion size, quality and quantity as per the menu.

  • Stay updated on culinary trends and implement innovative ideas efficiently.
  • Develop creative menus using existing resources while observing profitability margins.
  • Effectively communicate menu items to the restaurant team.
  • Delegate tasks to junior chefs and ensure seamless execution.
  • Plan business operations and monitor advanced bookings.
  • Set up work stations and maintain cleanliness throughout the process.
  • Store food correctly and follow proper stock rotation practices.
  • Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain good colleague relations and motivate team members.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene regulations, HACCP and statutory requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene and Employment.
  • Participate in hotel management meetings and attend training sessions as required.
