The successful BIM Manager will be responsible for supporting the pre-construction team in reviewing tender documents, and providing technical review of 3D BIM models. They will also lead the DPD kick-off meeting with the project management team, and mentor junior BIM Engineers as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the pre-construction team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify Clients BIM and Digital requirements.","
  • Providing technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics and cost management.","
  • Leading the DPD kick off meeting (jointly with the Information Manager) with the project management team to review and finalise the DPD strategy.","
  • Mentoring junior BIM Engineers as required","

For this role we are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience of working on multi-disciplinary projects with BIM level 2 requirements","
  • BIM Documentation experience is crucial for this role.","
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills and experience working with MS Office","
