Job Description:

The Customer Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional support and service to an assigned portfolio of clients via telephone or email. The goal is to build strong relationships, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales and Upselling: Understand and sell a range of card payment products, including Dynamic Currency Conversion, Multi Currency Conversion, and other value-added solutions as introduced.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a large portfolio of clients, prioritizing retention and growth opportunities.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide accurate reports on daily, weekly, and monthly activity, including inbound and outbound calls, and forecast revenue and new business.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a customer account management role in a sales-driven environment.
  • Revenue Achievement: Evidence of consistently hitting and overachieving revenue targets.
  • Time Management and Organisation: Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of a company.
  • Broad Commercial Acumen: Broad commercial and financial acumen and awareness of issues involved in negotiating and has ability to negotiate logically and constructively.
  • Communications: An influential and highly effective communicator.
  • Teamwork: A team player able to work and support colleagues across a multinational organisation.
  • Adaptability: A willingness to accept change and the ability to maintain effectiveness in a changing environment.
  • Education: Leaving Certificate or equivalent as standard.
