
Regional Business Development Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with senior executives and stakeholders to drive business growth and ensure successful delivery of projects. This includes leasing and acquiring data centre capacity, conducting market research, and negotiating commercial terms.
Your duties will also include performing analytics, creating new ways of working, and developing strategic documents to drive long-term regional design. You will work closely with regional supply, engineering, construction, legal, security, networking, and operations teams throughout each project and transaction sequence.
Additionally, you will support the site acquisition team on lease transactions, assist with site selection process and strategy development, and drive commercial and legal negotiations with partners in assigned regions.
You will also be responsible for ensuring data integrity in supply planning and execution systems, developing processes and procedures to streamline contract delivery, and collaborating with internal law and corporate affairs personnel to drive successful contracts.
This role requires a strong coordination experience, excellent reporting acumen, and ability to converse with finance, operations, security, and networking representatives to prepare business cases and deal summaries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 5+ years portfolio management or real estate experience
- Bachelor's degree or degree equivalent in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team environment delivering multiple leasing projects simultaneously, a strong support for the team, and a general background in real estate development and land acquisition.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. This includes passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Other Requirements:Limited travel in the EMEA region as needed (less than 25%). Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
