Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to take on the role of Sous Chef in our esteemed kitchen.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Be actively involved in cooking, preparation, and service during peak periods
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Lead by example on the kitchen floor, providing guidance and training to junior chefs
  • Contribute innovative ideas to menus and daily specials
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP protocols
  • Manage inventory control, ordering, and cost optimization

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef or higher in a reputable restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • A valid work permit with supporting documentation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • A genuine passion for food, creativity, and staying up-to-date with modern culinary trends
