About the Role

This role involves working night shifts to provide support and safety to clients.

You will contribute to ensuring effective and consistent best-practice standards are followed in our emergency accommodation services.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks, recording findings and updating records as necessary.
  • Offer daily living skills support and relapse prevention support to clients at night.
  • Provide a robust induction for new clients, ensuring they are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
  • Ensure all systems are working properly and that the building is secure at night.
  • Implement therapeutic and diversionary interventions to promote positive mental health attitudes among service users.
  • Support managers in implementing strategic and operational action objectives.
  • Prepare rooms for service user intake to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Manage crisis and conflict situations effectively, adhering to organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate handovers, incident reports, and follow-ups in accordance with organisational guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, security inspections, and bedroom health and safety inspections as required.
Essential Requirements
  • Possess relevant qualifications (Level 5-8) and experience in a similar setting.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work in an agile environment.
  • Exhibit willingness to learn and develop interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience in carrying out Health & Safety inspections and audits.
