**Job Title:** Night Porter

 

We are seeking a skilled Night Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • To check in and out hotel guests as required, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • To assist with guest requests related to luggage and porterage, providing a friendly and helpful service at all times.
  • To maintain the cleanliness of areas within the hotel, including but not limited to the lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas, and meeting room floor.
  • To clean other areas as directed by the manager on duty and as per the nightly checklist, which may include setting up function rooms and the breakfast area.
  • To ensure the front entrance and outside of the hotel are clean and tidy at all times, including emptying bins and picking up rubbish.
  • To have a full understanding of the hotel's fire procedures to ensure the safety of all staff and guests at all times.
  • To set up meeting rooms as required.

 

**Requirements:

  • Experience in working with customers.
  • Good spoken English.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work in a busy environment.
  • A good team player.
