Strategic Business Development Manager

Are you a seasoned commercial professional looking to make a significant impact in the energy sector? Access Talent Group is seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to join their team and contribute to large-scale projects in substation, power generation, and grid connection.
The successful candidate will lead the commercial strategy and execution for projects from inception to completion, manage the negotiation and administration of contracts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute commercial strategies for projects from inception to completion
* Negotiate and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and finance to drive project success
* Identify and mitigate risks to safeguard project profitability
* Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
* Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles within the energy or construction industry
* Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
