Job Title: Import Customs Broker

Job Overview:

As a highly organized and detail-oriented professional, we seek an individual to manage Irish import customs clearance procedures. Key responsibilities include filing T1 & T2 documents, processing inward and outward processing relief, and communicating with traders, freight forwarders, and distributors.

  • Prepare and submit customs declarations for imports and exports via TSS, ENS, PBN, TRACES submissions, and ROSA.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
  • Manage Economic Procedure management and Simplified Procedure management using ISP and EIDR.
  • Collaborate with logistics providers to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accurate reporting for customers and revenue, adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in Irish import customs clearance within a multimodal freight forwarder environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations in Ireland, with UK and NI customs knowledge advantageous.
  • Experience with TARIC, ROSA, AEP, AIS, NCTS, and CHIEF is preferred.
  • A working knowledge of European customs procedures and practice, including import/export clearance and community transit, is essential.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are required.
