Customer Retention Specialist

A highly skilled Customer Retention Specialist plays a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through effective customer retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement proactive customer retention plans, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Coach and train new team members, assist with weekly and monthly reports, and maintain the customer retention inbox to ensure seamless communication.
  • Handle pricing requests, cancellation requests, and account management to achieve retention targets and minimize company churn.
Additional Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate customer records and complete required documentation to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends to provide valuable insights for strategic business decisions.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and engage with customers via phone and email to proactively reduce churn through retention processes.
  • Oversee price plan migrations from customer requests and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer retention or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving retention or sales targets.

As a seasoned Customer Retention Specialist, you will develop expertise in current products/services and stay up-to-date on industry changes. Additional ad hoc duties may be assigned.

  • Effective listening and communication skills to build long-lasting customer relationships.
