Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Monitoring Engineer to join our team, working on a dedicated project for a prestigious client.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise Service Desk activities and engineers. Monitor and review team/individual performance.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Produce weekly reports on performance levels of the Service Desk, including Service Levels, calls outstanding, trend analysis, and exception reporting. Write efficient user guides and documentation and maintain knowledge management.
  • Technical Support: Perform hands-on technical duties related to providing infrastructure support in a Virtualized environment (Windows Servers, VMware, AD, MS Exchange, MS SQL).
  • Training and Development: Develop and train team members. Identify gaps in processes and services.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other members of the IT division, including IT Management. Hold bi-monthly 1-2-1 meetings with team members.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated people management/team lead experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Technical Expertise: 3+ years' experience supporting a Windows/VMware environment. Good experience working with Windows Servers, VMware, Active Directory, MS Exchange, and ITIL knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills based on 3+ years' experience in a technical support role.
