Civil Marine Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Marine Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in designing and overseeing marine infrastructure projects, including ports, harbours, and coastal protection schemes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in marine or coastal engineering projects within the Irish or UK market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee marine infrastructure projects such as ports, harbours, and coastal protection schemes
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in marine or coastal engineering projects within the Irish or UK market (desirable)
  • Experience in Civil disciplines such as structures, civil drainage, water networks (desirable)
  • Passionate about marine infrastructure in Ireland
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients and project teams
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes, Irish design standards, and marine modelling software
