Engineering Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding teams of engineers in the design and implementation of automation projects. They must possess a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems to tackle complex problems effectively.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Owning and directing technical aspects of projects with small to medium-sized teams
  • Assisting project managers in identifying scope changes and developing change orders
  • Translating functional requirements into system configurations
  • Designing control system network architectures and control strategies
  • Serving as a technical contact for clients
  • Programming controllers and configuring automation equipment
  • Selecting automation equipment and instrumentation
  • Designing electrical control cabinets and panels with support from CAD technicians
  • Testing system configurations to verify functions
  • Traveling to client sites for project meetings and system verification

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, and possess a thorough understanding of control system design and coding. Proficiency in one or more of the following platforms is highly desirable: Inductive Automation Ignition, Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Emerson DeltaV, Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs, National Instruments LabVIEW, or Siemens S7.
