Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance technicians, troubleshooting equipment issues, and working on capital projects.
You will also be responsible for conducting quarterly evaluations, maintaining equipment records, and designing process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have five years of applicable work experience, prior maintenance lead or supervisors experience, and a certificate from college or technical school in industrial fabrication, machining, electrical troubleshooting, refrigeration experience, safety training, HACCP, Lean Management, and SQF understanding.

Job Responsibilities- Supervise maintenance and facility technicians in all aspects of troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on all equipment throughout the facility.
- Work on capital projects to ensure that the scope of work and all budgets and timelines are met.
- Continue ongoing technical training with all maintenance technicians on how to improve safety, mechanical uptime, preventative maintenance, and mechanical talents.
- Be an active member of all plant safety and food safety initiatives.
- Be a leader of the maintenance team and work with all mechanics to ensure that all plant mechanical needs are met.
- Conduct quarterly evaluations on all maintenance associates and work with them on achieving all pre-assigned goals.
- Maintain complete equipment maintenance records and PM schedules for all equipment within the facility. Be the leader on the current CMMS system and ensure that all work assigned to the team is completed on time and validated from a quality perspective.
- Design, measure, analyze, implement, and control mechanical process improvements alongside all departments and management teams.
- Repair downed equipment in a fast-paced, time-critical, and safe work environment.
- Recommend, manage, and validate equipment modifications approved by the management team to improve the process or improve the safety of the associates.
- Five years of applicable work/industry experience.
- Prior maintenance lead or supervisors experience.
- Certificate from college or technical school recommended but industry experience can also be used.
- Read machine diagrams and parts breakdowns.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Use of hand and machine tools.
- Able to use a volt meter.
- Able to work effectively in various environments; cold, hot, wet, high areas.
- Able to obtain certification with material handling equipment.
- Above-average mechanical abilities.
