Software Development Manager Role

This leadership position is responsible for enhancing software development practices across the organization, encompassing all technologies, SDLCs, standards, patterns, and tools.

  • Lead the delivery of software at both macro (planning, budgeting, forecasting) and micro levels (task assignment, funding, collection, execution).
  • Develop and mentor the software development team to reach their full potential.
  • Ensure solutions are developed in accordance with quality standards, controls, architecture, security norms, and cost considerations.
  • Collaborate with Launch Management for environment preparation and controlled deployment of software assets.
  • Maintain software solutions in line with SLAs, providing continuous fixes and improvements.
  • Work with Architects, Project Managers, Analysts, and IT teams to contribute to business cases, estimations, plans, and optimal design and execution.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders within CTS, European Technology, and Global Corporate Technology.
  • Represent the function in relevant communities.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
  • Requirements:
    • More than 10 years of experience in software development teams.
    • Tech lift in software development and engineering practices, design, and implementation of patterns.
    • Experience with version control, CI/CD tools, code analysis, and testing management.
    • Excellence in object-oriented programming, SQL, web development, security, and open-source technologies.
