A leading Irish Contractor is currently recruiting for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to oversee projects in the Dublin region. Having recently won a number of large projects throughout Dublin, they have established themselves as a leading Main contractor with significant turnover.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager to report directly to the board. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective delivery of multiple projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, education, mixed-use, retail, and healthcare.

You will be a results-driven QS with demonstrable experience managing staff and projects for an Irish/UK Main contractor and possess strong contractual awareness. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing suppliers and subcontractors
  • Overseeing the procurement of new suppliers and subcontractors
  • Preparing monthly CVRs (Cash Flow Reports)
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
  • Acting as a mentor to junior surveyors and providing commercial support and guidance to your immediate team and the wider project team
