Job Summary

This role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced office environment, supporting day-to-day facilities operations with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and delivery of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily rounds and readings of all M&E systems, performing daily inspections of meeting rooms and common areas, and maintaining the orderliness of open office areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily rounds and readings of all M&E systems to ensure optimal performance and report any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of meeting rooms and common areas, ensuring they are ready for use at the start of each day.
  • Handle porterage of heavy parcels, equipment, and miscellaneous items, prioritizing efficiency and safety.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by senior team members, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitors and contractors, reporting any incidents or safety hazards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar facilities role, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills, both over the phone and face-to-face, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and timely.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment, with some experience in a lively mailroom department an advantage.
  • Educated to Leaving Certificate Level, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Experience with mailroom equipment and international courier systems an asset.
